For a few dollars, buy a comic E book on Physics: get smarter, and help the cause of raising money for alternative educational learning methods..
1 comments "It is my hopes that I would like to see this happen.."
As stated before and elsewhere in this blog, originally I wrote this series of physics books as an exercise to just review my engineering and science notes from college and see how much information I retained from actually going to school. As the project started to take a life of its own, and the amount of notes and comic material I gathered got bigger and bigger, my motivations became slightly modified: I started realizing that no book series of this magnitude and style exist in the current market today that can educate people with all the basic knowledge they need for science and engineering, whether they're just learning on their own, or they're forced to take classes at school.
My hopes for this project..
Therefore, now that the entire series is completed (One full volume is done and three are on deck and just need to be edited), I would love to see more books like this sprout out of the woodwork that will create a completely alternative teaching tool for educating people in various academic subjects that can enrich anyone's life by being more educated. If it's within my grasp, I would like to help have this series of pave the way to start a movement where:
a) we have access to educational books written in a similar comic book format that might be more fun and easy to read than the traditional textbooks that currently exist
b) where we all stop paying money for overpriced private colleges when rather, we can read books like this and get our education for $39,925 dollars less, &
c) where revenue made from all current purchases for any of the books bought through this site and LULU will go to help raise money for the next three volumes I have in the lineup..
Even though these books are 'finished', I still need to raise money to hire professional technical editors to 'proofread' the material so spelling and grammatical errors are minimized. But most importantly, I need to guarantee the scientific content itself is completely correct so that, for example, if I've overlooked anything while writing the chapters covering the science of fluid mechanics, a person doesn't start believing they breath underwater if there was a typo somewhere in my book series that says otherwise. I also need editors to check things like run on sentences, or sentences that are out of place within a paragraph, go off on tangents, and in reality have no business in this paragraph, for example.
Furthermore, the revenue made will help to raise money for greater advertising campaign, a more professional and polished quality product, and subcontract other authors in the future to hopefully start writing educational comic books like this that cover other subjects besides physics..
So even if you aren't excited about the idea of contributing to raise money for starting alternative methods of education but see the logic here, please purchase even an Ebook for a few dollars..( and tell your friends or enemies about the movement too!) This is a fanatical attempt to fulfill a dream of promoting the physical sciences to a huge demographic group of people that don’t learn these subjects easily through traditional means that can help collectively reestablish an appreciation for these subjects, and that once proficient in these subjects can not feel so intimidated about the the technological complexities of the modern world, contribute, to help improve economic stability in this country, and give me the time and writing skills to have me master the art of not writing run-on sentences..
Message to (already) fans of Jack Dogg..
To all my fans who read and liked Jack Dogg years ago I think will be VERY pleased with the latest bit of work. And, to everyone thank you for your faithful appreciation and support of my work!..

Hey Xavier "C.S."- now that someone has clued me in I am totally blown away by this (as your former S.S. teacher). My Jared would love this stuff - and you are SO RIGHT about nontraditional approaches. Can't exactly ship it to Africa, but we'll be ordering next summer when we're home. (I think he'd prefer the real book) See you then. Debbie Sacra
